Making Your Vision a Reality

A few years back I was introduced to the world of lending. I've already had a few years of debt collecting under my belt and I was growing tired of being treated like the bad guy and felt a change was needed.

Lending was a new venture that I grasped onto fast. Customers were calling back!! I mean they were excited to talk to me.  Huge difference from the hat I was accustomed to.

After a year or so of working as a Consumer Lending Processor, I decided that I'd like to take a shot at Consumer Underwriting.  You know, to learn what it takes for a customer to receive funding for a product. I spent a year wearing the underwriting hat, when I decided to look into the sales aspect of the Consumer & Mortgage products.

This is when I became an Mortgage Loan Originator or MLO for short. I was granted an NMLS number and was able to earn top sales-rep in my office a few times. I enjoyed working with the credit unions for a total of seven years, four of which I was a Loan Officer, but I wanted to get back to underwriting.

During my time as an MLO, I obtain a Realtors license so that I can be on both sides of the lending ball.  In my experience, I've seen a fair share of Realtors who do not understand their clients financial needs and goals.  With my knowledge of lending and its practices, I can see a clearer picture to what a client can spend versus what they can afford.  This makes me the perfect agent to consult and work with!
